Material Lights is a design studio creating artisanal lighting objects that bridge ancient craftsmanship and contemporary design. Based between Stockholm and Cairo, the studio works with hand-carved Egyptian alabaster, wood, and experimental media such as ostrich egg.

Each piece celebrates the dialogue between form, material, and light. We craft collectible works that are poetic and nurturing – softly diffused, circadian-conscious illumination that comforts as much as it captivates.
